Carnival

On Wednesday February 15th the Nursery & the Primary Section of the European School is holding their annual

“CARNAVAL” or Mardi Gras Event. The children will be asked to come to school in disguise and make-up.

At 12h30 the APE organizes their Annual Carnaval Celebration for all Parents and pupils in the Primary School yard. Traditionally, the APE will sell Knacks and Beignets. All proceeds will be going to the purchase of educational tools for our children in Nursery & Primary.
We are asking each parent to donate a bottle of Soda, Juice or water to the free-drink buffet.

Don’t forget to bring your APE-EES Glass. You can buy them for 1 Euro. There will be NO disposable cups available!

The theme for this years Carnaval is Masques and Make-up while respecting the Comenius project of recycling. We are inviting all parents to wear a masque to the Mardi Gras, created from Recycled materials, and to finish your creation with stylish make-up. The wildest creations will be rewarded a nice price!

The Brazilian music and dance society from Centre Culturel Rotterdam will provide live Brazilian dance and music in our school yard.
